Chemical/Synthetic Fragrances... We don't even know what they really are.

Chemical and synthetic-based fragrances are usually manufactured to duplicate or copy a certain scent that already comes from nature but is less expensive to produce. We've known for years that the ingredients used in synthetic and chemical fragrances are derived from petroleum and include many carcinogenic materials. Many of these chemicals can have adverse side effects including cancer, birth defects, headaches and dizziness.

The actual problem with fragrances is that manufacturers are not required to disclose the exact ingredients used. In a country where people with asthma, allergies and breathing difficulties are suffering every day, wouldn't it be fair to know the possible triggers?

This cooling and refreshing essential oil is used in aromatherapy to stimulate the mind, increase mental agility and focus. It furthermore helps to ease migraines, headaches, sinus and chest congestion. Peppermint can actually help you breathe.

LAVENDER, FLOWERS
ANTISEPTIC, ANTIVIRAL, BACTERICIDAL (kills bacteria compared to "antibacterial" which just inhibits the growth of bacteria)

There are many factors including potency and percentages but for the education of the reader, this information solidifies why we would only choose pure oils over synthetic fragrances, which have no cleaning properties at all.

Considered the universal oil because of its safety, lavender essential oil has soothing, calming, and restorative properties. It is also antiseptic, cooling and mild. Being sweetly aromatic, it balances the potency of peppermint.

TEA TREE, BRANCHES/LEAVES FROM AUSTRALIAN TEA TREE
ANTISEPTIC, ANTIVIRAL, FUNGICIDAL

Tea tree essential oil is also considered to be a universal oil because of its many positive and safe characteristics. Melaleuca alternifolia has been proven strong against many infectious agents. This oil emits a sharp but clean smell.
